Thanks to our partners, 100% of donations go directly to serving the D1:8 community
The heartbeat of D1:8 is to serve the young and underprivileged. We aspire to do this by helping them find something to do with their hands. We appreciate the fact that not all our young ones can make it through the regular school. One way in which we facilitate their growth is through Vocational training, which also builds up their families and communities.
Our goal is to sustain our vocational program, which began in November 2022 and accessible to all in the community, Christian and Muslim alike. Our hope is that this center is a safe, positive, encouraging, and resourceful environment and tool within the Sunyani community and surrounding areas. Access to skills such as sewing, baking, beading, woodwork etc would be a special opportunity for these communities.
With the generosity of some helpers, we've raised enough to start the project/program! We still need to raise around $23,467 USD for training materials and an expansion of the learning space. Will you help support us in finishing this much needed project?
