Acts 11:23-24 says, “When he (Barnabas)arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose. He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.” Barnabas is an example of a generous spirit when it comes to giving sacrificially to the work of the Lord. We named this area of funding the “Barnabas Fund” because we not only want to uplift the children we serve through biblical teaching and encouragement, but also through tangible gifts of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a significant number of people were brought to the Lord through generosity
As a ministry dedicated to the well-being of young people in every aspect, we cannot ignore their physical needs either. Often, the young people(and leaders) who attend our programs come from impoverished families and haveobvious physical needs that we could meet if we had the resources.
If you feel called to bless these young ones with your kindness and generosity through the Barnabas Fund, you can click on the “Help a Member in Need” link to see how the funds are used and how they specifically impact that young person, leader, or community.
